- Push time forward (May 2006)
The flow of time has changed the form of my diary, from descriptive passages
back in the last century to the most recent set of photo diaries, and has now undergone another 'metamorphosis'
into a blog.
This is a recording of memories known as 'fragments of time'. Futher fragments will appear
as time passes by. Please click on the panels on the top / side to move the timeline forward / backward

Work during these three months from April to June 2006 would consist mainly of evening shifts,
which means in most of the days work will start in late afternoon and ends at midnights. Some pros and cons: It is
nice to wake up late and to do things that I fancy, and of course this would also mean much less chance to dine-out with
friends too.
Some shoppings were recently done for preparation of the coming summer seasons, including trainers and
new swimming trunks etc. Blue and white are still my favourite colors. I suppose I am quite stubborn with my choices and preferences for brands
as Adidas and Arena are still on the top of my choice list. Really looking forward to the spells of sunshine in the coming months
to get a tan again.
Another recent item of addiction is the PSP console that was bought last christmas. One of my favourite games that grabbed my attention would definitely be
Katamari, the game itself may sound a bit silly (related to a tiny Prince on a mission to rebuild islands after the tsunami, achieved by rolling a magical
sticky ball called a 'katamari' around various locations, collecting increasingly larger objects, ranging from thumbtacks to schoolchildren to mountains,
until the ball has grown large enough to become an island), but it is definitely fun to play with. The music is great too.
Wonder if there are other similar games like this too.
1) Went to IFC Palace to watch "Nanny McPhee". In fact it is a pretty interesting film (good enough as a children's movie anyway).
Just wondering if one can look better (literally just as in the story) by doing good deeds to others, then how nice it would be (daydreaming...).
2) Bought a packet of microwave rice for tomorrow's lunch at work, never tried it before but I suppose it can be nice... Interesting variety of japanese food one can find
in supermarket nowadays (well of course not just from the basic round-the-street-corner supermarkets though but those special ones).
Sometimes I believe that even if I am flawless with my knowledge and counselling,
my patients would still be skeptical with what I said and how I tried to help. What
they appear to trust may not be the facts, and what they need is someone who looks old
with white hair to say exactly the same things.
A problem of expectation and perception this is.

Work nowadays have disrupted the usual life routines. Tend to get rather peckish after work at midnights
and ended up searching for food. Dug out a bottle of pickles last night from the fridge and served with crackers.
Um~ a memorable taste from England. Suddenly I feel I miss the english "Fish and Chips"...
Grandpa called 3am last night saying grandma felt really unwell. Called the ambulance and we all ended up at my work place. Things got sorted out around 6am in the end and ran out of time to sleep. Still, the coming day will be busy.
The weather got more and more humid nowadays and some unexpected little "beings" started crawling around. Saw the first gecko of the year,
not exactly a pleasing sight but apparently they are the "goodies" - they munch on mosquitoes so apparently they do good for the home environment,
or at least this is what I should keep persuading me about and stop thinking too much. (Since I failed to catch them and chase them away)
